Emma had a wonderful 1st birthday celebration, beginning with Wonderful Ones on the local TV station, a birthday shout-out on the sign in front of Gifford's Community Building, lunch at the local café, and a birthday party that night! We had a great time! It was a farm theme, and as you can tell from the pictures, that suits her perfectly.
Since we didn't have cabinet doors on yet, we improvised :)
Grandma Debbie made the awesome caterpillars and row crops to go with the theme!
Thanks to Casey for making the barn cake and animal cupcakes, and to Mary for making the adorable animal cookies. Yes, I did make something. I made the dirt ;)
This was our first party in the new house and it was great to have everyone!
Emma's 1st birthday gift from us and Anna. She didn't want out of it. Andy pushed her around the house until his back couldn't handle it anymore!
Emma loved the icing on the cupcakes. She pretty much cleared it off and then the cupcake fell on the floor :)
The "older" kids!
The best pic we could get. She was ready to open gifts....
....or play in the rocks!
Happy 1st Birthday Emma Jo! You are such an amazing blessing to our family.
